Some senior Congress leaders on Monday said the party would not support the Aam Aadmi Party in its bid to unite the opposition against the Centre's order that gave the Delhi governor the final say in sending bureaucrats to the capital.
Congress leaders from the Delhi and Punjab units met party chief Mallikarjun Kharg on Monday and expressed their reservations about joining the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and that the Congress should not be seen sharing the stage with the Arvind Kejriwal-led party in its power struggle with the Center for Control of Officers in Delhi, sources said.
Although the final decision of the High Command in this regard has yet to be made.
